Questions
- Why do other tools save Reddit videos without sound?
- Reddit keeps the picture and the sound in separate files. DropVid joins them for you.
- Do v.redd.it links work?
- Not yet. Open the post and copy its reddit.com link instead.
- Is DropVid free?
- Five downloads a day are free, with no account and no sign-up. Thumbnails, subtitles and the editor are always free. For more downloads, buy a pack of credits.
- Do you keep my files?
- No. A file waits on our server for up to 20 minutes, then it is deleted. Once you save it, it is deleted two minutes later.
- Is it legal?
- Saving public videos for personal use is allowed in many places, but it depends on where you live and on the video. Only download what you have the right to.
