Terms of use
Last updated 28 September 2026.
By using DropVid you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What DropVid does
DropVid fetches publicly available media from the link you give it and hands you a copy. It does not host, index or keep any media. Files are deleted from our server two minutes after you save them, or after 20 minutes.
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for making sure you have the right to download and use what you save.
- Do not use DropVid to infringe copyright or to break the terms of the site you are saving from.
- Do not use DropVid for content that is private, paid for, or protected against copying.
Fair use of the service
- No automated or bulk use, scraping, or attempts to get around rate limits or bot checks.
- No attempts to use DropVid to reach other systems, or to interfere with how it runs.
Free downloads and credits
- Everyone gets a small number of free downloads each day. We may change that number.
- Paid credits are linked to a DropVid key. Anyone who has the key can use its credits, so keep it private.
- A failed download gives its credit back automatically. Credits cannot be exchanged back for money, except where the law says otherwise.
- If you lose your key, contact us with your payment reference and we will replace it.
- Credits do not expire while DropVid runs. If we ever close the service, we will give notice first.
Blocking
We may block any link, site or user at any time, including after a copyright complaint. See Copyright and takedowns.
No warranty
DropVid is provided as it is, free of charge, with no promise that it will work for any site or be available at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
