Instagram Reels downloader

Save a public Instagram Reel. Instagram often blocks servers like ours, so this works some days and not others; the status page says which.

Works with TikTok, X / Twitter, Facebook, SoundCloud, Dailymotion and Twitch clips. Reddit, Vimeo, Bilibili, Instagram and YouTube when they allow it (see what works right now).

How it works

    In Instagram, tap Share on the Reel, then Copy link.

  2. Paste it

    Paste it above.

  3. Save

    Pick a quality and save.

Why it does not always work

Instagram shows most content only to logged-in people and limits what servers can fetch. DropVid never logs in to Instagram, so when Instagram tightens those limits, downloads fail until it relaxes them.

We would rather tell you than pretend. The status page is checked every hour and shows whether Instagram is working right now.

What never works

Private accounts, Stories from private accounts, and close friends posts. These need a login, and DropVid does not log in.

Questions

Does a failed download use up my free downloads?
No. A failed download gives its credit back automatically.
Can I save photos?
Not yet. DropVid saves videos and their audio.
