Share to DropVid from iPhone

iPhone does not let websites join the Share Sheet on their own, but the free Shortcuts app can. Set this up once and you can share any video straight to DropVid.

Make the Shortcut

1. Open the Shortcuts app and tap the plus button to make a new Shortcut.
2. Tap the name at the top and call it DropVid.
3. Tap the info button (i) and turn on Show in Share Sheet. Under Share Sheet Types, keep only URLs and Text.
4. Add the action URL Encode. Set its input to Shortcut Input.
5. Add the action URL and type https://dropvid.online/?text=, then add the URL Encode result right after the equals sign.
6. Add the action Open URLs. Tap Done.

Use it

In TikTok, X, Reddit or any app, tap Share, then choose DropVid. If it is not in the list, scroll to the end and tap Edit Actions to add it. DropVid opens with the link ready.
