Copyright and takedowns

DropVid does not host or keep any media. It fetches public media when a user asks for it. If you own the rights to a work and do not want DropVid to process it, we will block it.

Send a notice

Email copyright@dropvid.online with:

1. The work you own, or a list of works.
2. The links on the source site that you want blocked.
3. Your name, address, phone number and email.
4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
5. A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We block valid requests within 48 hours and reply to confirm.

Counter-notice

If you believe a link was blocked by mistake, email the same address with the link, why you believe the block is a mistake, your contact details, consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts, and your signature.

Repeat infringers

We block users and sites that repeatedly use DropVid to infringe.
